Ann Marie is the Statewide Breastfeeding Initiatives Manager for the Indiana Department of Health in the Division of Nutrition and Physical Activity. She is responsible for the development and implementation of the five-year strategic Indiana Breastfeeding Plan and serves as an advisor to the Indiana Breastfeeding Coalition. She has been supporting Hoosier families with infant feeding for more than 20 years in both in-patient and out-patient settings. Ann Marie also works in the lactation department of IU Health Bloomington Hospital and currently serves as president of the Monroe County Breastfeeding Coalition. In 2015 she co-founded Flourish, the nonprofit organization behind Milk Matters.
